Thanks for the great words Bonnie. Talk about inspiration!! I love how involved you are but with the vision of truly helping other people out and not JUST trying to get ahead! You have such a pure unadulterated path and you make me want to act and think just the same!

I agree with what you have to say. I do think I need to push him, such as, setting up goals. If we go and do this for a couple hours we can go toss the football around, or if we go to this particular event, YOU get to choose the next event that we attend whether by ourselves our with the organization.

He definitly does respect my opinion and how a view him. Right now we're working on homework. We'll not this minute, but when he starts school, first step is to turn all his homework in. I just don't see his house, as crazy as it is, being a conducive environment that would help him out. I just don't seem him being able to 'get ahead' whatever that means looking at the environment he's coming from. It really scares me. One step I want to take is talk with his teachers and see maybe what they think I can do to help. We'll see. The coolest thing is though, he has so much fricken potential! This boy is amazing!

Thanks again Bonnie! You're great!

I think it's completely appropriate at times to push Little, but also know when to back off. When you see an opportunity, seize it. You are the adult and it's your responsibility at times to have him do things he may not always want to do - that's how he becomes exposed to this big world that's now available to him. Do you recall times when your parents, teachers or coaches made you do something you didn't want to? And how later you were thankful? That's your distinction to determine and pursue... don't feel badly about having expectations of your Little. If you don't, no one else might, including your Little. One performs as they are expected. Keep up the great work, Joseph, you continue to inspire me!
